Soma Friesergaard is a breeder of quality Friesians in Norway. Our farm is located at the south vest coast of Norway, in Sandnes. Stavanger airport is 5 minutes with car from us. We are member of K.F.P.S. in Holland, and we follow their rules and regulations. Our goal is to breed healthy horses with the qualities of the breed. That is why we only have mares with good pedigrees in our breeding program, and ofcourse we only breed them to approved Friesian stallions. We want to breed quality horses with excellent conformation - harmoniously built, properly proportioned horses with a noble head, clear, intelligent eyes and with excellent movements.

We think it is important that the foals are much handled from the day they are born. We spend many hours in the stable or out in the field together with the foals every day. We want to train the foals to be confident and social individuals, and prepare them for their new home the best way possible. All our horses are Natural horsemanship trained. 

Our horses are much out in the field, both summer and winter. They are in the stable in the nights though. It’s important that they are able to exercise and be in motion every day, not only when they are working. Especially foals and young hoses need to play around and feel free. All our foals are vaccinated, ID-marked with micro chip and registrated in K.F.P.S before they leave to new homes.
